ConSec is hosting a talk with Susan L. Woodward, professor of political science at The Graduate Center of the City University of New York, moderated by Erin K. Jenne, associate professor at IRES.

This discussion will examine the striking parallels between the Yugoslav events, 1989-93 in particular, and the Ukrainian events, 2013-14, as well as competing narratives of legitimacy, the current (post-Cold War) international or-der, the contemporary fate of multivocality in imperial borderlands, and the civil war literature.
